Fulham Palace House & Garden

Easily accessible by tube and bus, Fulham Palace House & Garden is the perfect weekend adventure!

For over 1,300 years Fulham Palace was the home of the Bishops of London. Now this historic house and botanic garden in west London is open to all to enjoy, year round, for free.

In the house there is so much to do, whether you meet the Bishops in the Tudor great hall, or hear the sounds of Fulham Palace past and present, in the sensory room. You can walk among the Bishops as you learn about their role and you can explore the archeological story of the site and examine artefacts discovered.

The garden is the second oldest botanical garden in London, and you can stroll around the beautiful 12 acre garden at your own pace. They have a beautiful walled garden, where you can find a productive kitchen garden, vinery and apple orchard. You can see example of the types of exotic plants Bishop Compton grew at the Palace in the late 17th and early 18th centuries.

There really is so much to see!
