Buckland Park Lake

If you fancy venturing out of London we’d recommend a trip to Buckland Park Lake, located in the Surrey Hills between Reigate and Dorking and only around 45 minutes to an hour drive from Barnes and Wimbledon. This is a magical place to visit with woodland, cliffs, it’s own little beach, paddling area and lovely restaurant. During park hours there is an entry fee of £7 per adult, £4 per child (5-16) 4 and under go free, or a family ticket for £18.

Not many people know about this secret location which includes a water sport lagoon which is run by The Surrey Hills Adventure Company, who offer wild swimming, paddle boarding along with a range of other water based activities. It’s worth noting dogs aren’t allowed due to the birdlife.
