Nature Wings 🦋✨

This is a beautiful activity that you can do with your child. You’ll first need to go on an adventure walk to find lots of interesting nature treasures to use in the collage. Once you have plenty, then you’re all set to start the activity.

What you’ll need:

• Nature treasures

• A stick

• Recycled Cardboard (the original activity uses contact self adhesive paper)

• Scissors

• Glue

• String

Instructions:

1. Begin by drying and pressing out the flowers/nature treasures by pressing them between pages of a heavy book. Sandwich them between two sheets of paper to protect the book from any moisture in the leaves.

2. Cut one a simple butterfly shape out from the cardboard

3. Add the flowers/nature to the cardboard using glue

4. Add a stick to the centre

5. Attach strings using tape
