🍄 DIY Fungi Finger Puppets 🍄

This fun activity is a great one for your child to practise their fine motor skills. It will also hopefully spark lots of lovely conversations about all the different types of fungi you might be able to spot next time you’re out and about in the forest together.

What you’ll need:

• Egg carton

• Paint

• Googly eyes

• Scissors

• PVA Glue
  

Instructions:
1. Using the scissors, cut the mushrooms 'hats' which is the bottom area of the egg carton (where the eggs usually sit)

2. Then cut the 'stems' in the egg carton - this is the area that sits between the eggs. These will act as your mushroom stalks.

3. Glue the hat on to the the top of the stem that is closed. The open side will be for your fingers as seen in this picture.

4. Begin painting! What type of mushrooms will you and your little ones create? 🎨

5. Finally glue the googly eyes onto the hat of the mushroom.

You have now create your very own mushrooms puppets!
